I finally retrieved my Ipsy sideshow bag from the mailbox and I couldn’t be happier! I actually think I LOVE every item in the bag this time. This post will contain FULL spoilers and my initial thoughts on the products so if you haven’t yet received your bag and want to be surprised when you get yours, save this post for later 🙂

Ipsy Sideshow Bag Contents
This bag is all about making a statement and standing out. There were some really funky colors and looks created with this months bag. I didn’t get any of the products that were too colorful so I don’t have to worry about trying to recreate the colorful statement looks. The tutorials on Ipsy looks great on the models they used, though!
The sideshow bag itself is an adorable ‘carnival’ ticket bag and its too damn cute. It’s a bit small but it could still be used for a clutch…maybe.
Now let’s get into the actual contents of the sideshow bag!
EM Cosmetics Illustrative Eyeliner Brush Tip
Created by Michelle Phan. I used it only on my hand so far but I’ll be the first to admit this is a beautiful liner pen. The tip moves so fluidly even I should be able to get the perfect winged eye.
Compared to my E.L.F liquid liner pen, this is a blessing. While it isn’t water proof or smudge proof, it does dry really fast but still allows easy cleans if you mess up!
Glamour Dolls x Lisa Frank Angle Blush Brush
I knew I was going to love this as soon as I saw it on the site. The colors are so fun and though they don’t go with any of my current brushes, I will be using it. Why would you not? It’s vegan-friendly with synthetic hairs and it is so soft.
I did get very few shedding just messing with it but it was literally maybe three fibers from the brush.
Theorie Marula Oil Transforming Hair serum
This hair oil feels like all the hair oils I’ve been receiving since the FabFitFun Editors box featuring the Argan Oil. So far, there is literally no difference other than the smell. I’m not knocking this oil though! The smell is soft but woodsy and it does make my hair really soft. I didn’t really see a huge shine to my hair after applying this but I’m here for the softness, not the shine.
Adesse New York Lip Balm
I love how smooth this applies. If it wasn’t for the pink tint it provides (which I love), it would have easily became my new staple balm, kicking Vaseline and Carmex to the side! It provides so much moisture and I honestly can’t get enough of this. The brand packaging is really cute too!
Okay this is so small. Like tiny. I still think you’ll get a good amount of use out of this however. The gorgeous neutral color can go with almost any shades. I’ll be using this as a transition color, apart from the days I want a natural look.See my initial thoughts on the #ipsysideshow bag! Click To Tweet
Rating for the sideshow bag: 4/5.
I would have given the sideshow a full 5 star rating had it not been for how tiny the PEEK beauty shadow is. I know it’s a sample but wow.
Here is a swatch of the lip balm and the liner brush.
