The feeling of being invited to a dinner that is practically free, boosts your social life, provides a life of status and offers free products never fails to inspire me and make me humble and grateful for becoming a blogger. I had the honor of attending a tropical dinner with the Vegas Lifestyle Influencers at the Margaritaville here in Las Vegas!
This event was sponsored by the sponsors mentioned, however this post is NOT sponsored by any of the brands or venues and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Even though I’ve only attended three events so far, I love meeting with the Vegas Lifestyle Influencers because we always have a great time, enjoy great food, and get sponsored by great brands. This time was no different!
Tropical Dinner at Margaritaville
The Tropical Dinner Food
I met the girls at Margaritaville around 7 pm and was greeted by Melanie with a hug. We had our adorable name tags, as usual for dinners, and sponsored gift bags on the plates upon arrival. The group was given one free drink on top of the 4 huge appetizers we received!
I ordered the Bahama Mama, which was really good! You could taste the rum but it wasn’t over powering, which was good
because I’m a lightweight. Included in the Bahama Mama is:
Margaritaville Spiced and Coconut Rums, Cruzan® Aged Dark Rum, crème de banana, pineapple and orange juices. Shaken and served over ice with a splash of grenadine.
First, we tasted the Volcano Nachos which were the most eaten appetizer. We then had the Asiago Crab and Artichoke dip. It was a bit salty, but it was still good! I enjoyed it. Our third dish was chicken egg rolls. Those were good, but I only had one…
Last but not least we enjoyed the Lava Lava shrimp, which other than the nachos, turned out to be my favorite. I love shrimp but I’m very cautious about eating it from other people simply because I’m very picky with cleaning my shrimp but this was really good. The coating was so crunchy and all the food had a nice heat to it. The nachos had jalapenos but I made sure to stay away from those.
We had 3 amazing sponsors for this event and I love the products from each sponsor.
I tried a bit of the primer on my wrist, just to make sure I wasn’t allergic but I’ve had no problems so far. It’s a cream formula but it dissolves into a powder-like feel, leaves a nice shimmer to the skin and rubs in dry, without making your skin feel dry. I think this will be a great matte primer for people with oily or combination skin! Other than the shimmer, it’s pretty translucent. The smell is so light you literally have to put your nose right up to the product and even then it’s still barely there. This one gets a 5-star rating from me! Can’t wait to try the other two samples!
Their products are cruelty-free and eco-friendly. I’ll be taking these samples on my trip later this weekend and I’ll update you on how well they work on my social media!
COOLA Daydream™ SPF 30 Mineral Primer is our weightless, multitasking best friend for radiant-looking skin and makeup all day long. For the trip I mentioned earlier, I will be taking these sample packs with me and trying them during the trip so I can’t give an honest review right now. However, I can tell you that this shampoo and conditioner set protects your texture, color, and body while cleansing and softening your hair. Both the shampoo and conditioner contain no paraben, no gluten, and no harmful sulfates.
The packaging of this brand is very simple but I love that the colors are sea blues, which I’m sure gives it its name “Sea Shampoo & Sea Conditioner.” The brand offers many other products including brushes and merchandise (the drawstring backpack just might be in my arsenal soon, it’s so cute!)
Verb Sea Shampoo gently cleanses hair, adds body and enhances waves for a natural, tousled look. Leaves hair voluminous and with touchable texture.
All of the girls were noticing their bracelets and mentioning how beautiful they were. I thought the cute pineapple gift bag was too cute and I didn’t want to open it
and ruin it before I was able to take pictures. I ended up saving mine until I got back to the house. Needless to say, I fell in love with it. Some girls got other colored stones but I’m happy with my pink color since pink is one of my favorite colors!
I did think the bracelet was going to be too small and not fit around my hand (big hands but small wrists, such a problem) but luckily it does fit without needing to be stretched or resized! It is a snug fit and the stone wires do scratch against my hand just a little bit but it’s not painful or uncomfortable to put on or take off. I’m really grateful for this item!
Did I mention it’s beautiful? Because it truly is. Fun fact: theses are all handmade!
I ended up having a lot of fun at the Tropical Dinner with the girls. Even though I was pretty awkward and quiet throughout the dinner (which I really need to work harder on). The girls made the first move but my anxiety kicked in pretty often and I ended up not saying a lot. Hopefully, none of the girls took it the wrong way! We have another really fun event coming up next week and I can’t wait to tell you all about it!
