My August themed Beach Please Boxymail came in over the weekend and I’m here to share what I got and give you a full review of each product.
The BOXYCHARM subscription is a full-sized monthly beauty subscription aimed for the makeup junkie who loves brands of all ranges (high-end, middle range, and affordable products), for a monthly fee of $21, $19.66 for a 3-month subscription, $19.33 for 6-months, or $19.25 for a 12-month subscription. Each box comes with 4-5 FULL-SIZE products
Beach Please Boxymail
This month’s theme is beach themed and I feel the box’ content relays those early-fall-at-the-beach-with-colder-weather-and-gray-skies type of beach days. I’m here for it too. Give me smores and a bonfire on the beach with my face beat with this months boxymail and I’m a happy camper.
But let’s actually get into the box now!
MODA Pro, 3-piece brush set
$26.00 at BeautyUSA.RoyalBrush.com
These brushes are very fluffy and soft but durable. First of all, I love the sleek black design of the brushes. The handles feel heavy duty and durable, the bristles are soft…honestly, with all the brushes I currently have, these feel the most high quality. I also love that each brush has an actual name and number. In this set, you have a blush brush, a chisel brush, and an eye crease brush. I tried all of this yesterday for a dinner I had with the Vegas Style Collective girls and these brushes are very nice!!!
$14.00 at purcosmetics.com
I haven’t worn falsies in a while since I got my Better Than Sex mascara. I wore these to the dinner with Style collective girls and they held up pretty well. The hairs are very soft, I didn’t experience any irritation, and they never felt like they were falling off. The only downside I have, and it’s not too much of a downside, is that these lashes are long. I like dramatic lashes but goodness these were so long.
Rainforest Of The Sea: Volume 2
$36.00 at TarteCosmetics
This is the main spoiler that I was stoked about this month. I’ve been looking for new eye palettes, and I didn’t want another neutral palette but goodness gracious this palette is gorgeous. The round shape, the mirror, the cover design…there’s just so much about this that I love. Getting to the shadows themselves, the colors are very pigmented, the pickup isn’t one swipe and go but it only took about 5-8 dips into the shadow to get the amount I wanted. The blending is great as well.
Here’s the look I completed from the tutorial provided in the Beach Please box.
Gel Effect Nail Polish & Face Paint
These two products were fun to try. I used the face paint on my cheeks as a blush. I applied three small dots on the apples of my cheeks and used the BMX-130 MODA pro brush to spread it over my cheeks. The color turned out very natural to my surprise! It blended extremely well too. The price is very expensive, but if you can afford it, I recommend trying this!
The Nail polish is a great product as well. I was rushing yesterday so I only had time to apply one coat to my nails. The polish dried pretty quickly, about 5 minutes, and one coat was very opaque. I do enjoy that the color is this rich red for the coming seasons!
Beach Please Box Total: $129.00
So what did you think of August’s boxy charm? Did you enjoy your products? How do you feel about the face paint and the Tarte palette?
