I still have a struggle when it comes to applying highlighters, or illuminator, strobing…whatever you may call it. But practice makes perfect, right? Over the past few months, I’ve managed to accumulate enough drugstore and high-end highlighter, that I’m positive I can do a mini battle and show which ones are the best and which are my favorite.
Happy Monday, yall! Before I get into the spoilers, review and my month-in-a-half wait for the Boxy Charm Makeup is Art featuring the crown brush post, I just want to thank you all for visiting Laqing In Creativity during this hiatus of mine! My organic search and views have stayed in the hundreds which honestly shocked me. I am so grateful and thankful to you all!!! Now, let’s hop right into this post because I really miss blogging and I miss you guys!
Hello! I am back and so happy to be writing again. I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve written anything other than numbers and account names. I’ve been meaning to review my Ipsy Summer Friday May 2017 glam bag for the longest but of course, homework has kept me from doing so.
Mother’s day is just around the corner, I know but hear me out. Summer is on the way also. Literally next month. Spring already consists of florals, sandals, sundresses and shorts but Summer causes for even more skin. You want to look your best for Summer too which starts with skin care or healthy eating and working out. However, there is another part that I feel isn’t talked about enough. Nail care. I’m not talking polishes and treatments in this post. I’m talking Crystal Nail files!
I finally retrieved my Ipsy sideshow bag from the mailbox and I couldn’t be happier! I actually think I LOVE every item in the bag this time. This post will contain FULL spoilers and my initial thoughts on the products so if you haven’t yet received your bag and want to be surprised when you get yours, save this post for later 🙂
Beauties on Fire, I’m glad to say, is still going so strong. I think it’s been almost a year for us now! This months theme is spring and I’m blooming into spring with this cute pink look! I think you’ll really enjoy this look. There’s a video of the process at the end of the post 🙂
Happy St. Patricks day! Today is like a mini guilty pleasure (?) of mine. I like celebrating it. I don’t do anything special but I do wear green. There is Irish in me after all, it’s only right! Last year for the holiday, I did a makeup tutorial for my YouTube using green as the main element of the look (you’ll be able to watch the video later on in the post). Looking back at the video, there was a lot of cringing and “oh no!” that I made but nevertheless, this post is a comparison of how far I’ve come with my skills and I think I’ve put a pretty good bridge between last year and now.
February has ended and we’re already getting to the second week of March. The first half of the year always going by way too fast. Mid year (August & September for me) goes way too slow and then the holiday months zoom by even quicker! What’s up with that???
Anyways, here are my February beauty favorites!
