If you have a blog or want to start a blog there is probably one aspect of blogging that you know will come eventually. Self-Hosting. If you plan to have your blog receive a lot of traffic, you want a really beautiful website, and you eventually want it to make income(passive or main), you know that you’re going to have to become self hosted. There are so many hosting websites in the world of blogging that it’s ridiculous and quite overwhelming. I have tried GoDaddy, Hostgator, and Siteground for hosting a blog/website of mine. It’s important to know exactly what you’re getting with your purchase, what’s necessary, what can wait, and what features and services you get when purchasing hosting for your blog and website. It’s not cheap by any means so I’m going to help you and give you my personal opinions and experiences with the above hosting providers.
I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

My Review of Follow You Home
Excerpt from Amazon.com. “WERK 101: Get-Your-Life-Together Guide is the ultimate handbook sharing health, wealth, and lifestyle lessons for the modern-day woman. Koereyelle DuBose, “the voice of single women,” fiercely empowers you to WERK for what you want by first WERKing on you. Get ready to let go of the victim mentality and be liberated as Koereyelle shows you how to create a powerful, positive mindset, and design your life’s destiny on your own terms. Let’s WERK!” By Koereyelle DuBose
I have had this in my draft since March and that is because I wanted the words to really be honest and mean something to the readers of this post and of the book. I want to help support Korereyelle and her business because that’s what Queens do: support and uplift other Queens. I know her book helped me get my life together (and I’m not just saying that because that’s the title).
The thing that struck me most from this book was Koereyelle’s quote “If you aren’t working on your dream, then you are working on someone else’s dream.” Out of all the great things about this book, that quote stuck a cord in me and that cord has melted into my brain. I was always against working for others because I had dreams of starting and running my own business. Yes, there are people out in the world that are perfectly fine with a job. In fact, we even need those people. It would be very hard to run a business without employees and such. But for the dreamers, the visionaries…the people who want more out of life than working a 9-to-5, why would you want to work on someone else’s dream?? That’s not for us and that’s why most of the time, it doesn’t work out for us.
Reading that quote from GYLT guide just helped make my passion for my business that much more special. I can help people with my own business. I can bring greatness from my own business. I can enjoy my work and create a lifestyle that works for me with my own business. Please let this sit with you and marinate. If there is one thing that I am learning from this world of entrepreneurs who are women (single or not) it’s that your business is your business. What you do no one else can do.
On this journey of starting my own business I have learned the hard cold truths of the world. That is: some people (sometimes the closest people in your life) do NOT want to see you succeed unless they are succeeding with you. I can’t tell you how many ‘congratulations’ I’ve seen someone, who was just hired to a corporate world job, receive opposed to someone who has decided they are going to start their own business. It’s sad when you really think about it. There are many entrepreneurs in the world, becoming successful everyday, why is it still ‘unrealistic’ to so many folks around the world??
This isnt just a book or a one time read. This is exactly what it says: a guide to get your life together. This guide is for starting, throughout, following up and keeping your shit together! Koereyelle also has a Werkbook that goes along with the guide. I dont have it yet but I definitely plan on getting it soon.
Another great thing I love about this guide is that it gives you health tips, not just work and life tips. And the health tips arent the basic “eat this and do this workout” the guidelines give you tips on skincare, specifically what Koereyelle uses herself! She speaks of ACV, vitamins and more! All holistic approaches. I respect her for that part. Too many times I have read guides or books that tells me I need to get this expensive product or natural resource and use it to help in its respective use of life. Personally, I quickly put those books down and never pick them back up.
I am going on vacation this weekend and out of all the books I’ll bring on my kindle, I know I will bring my GYLT guide by Koereyelle as the only physical copy because it’s a great pick me up when you need some encouraging words. Vacation is all about relaxing but this is a business vacation so there might be some stressful times too. I’d rather be safe and have the book with me than to be sorry and stressed out because I can’t read Koereyelles’ similar situation.
All in all, you should definitely get this book if you are looking for a relating lifestyle that you’re currently going through, have gone through or want to have. This book has it all and more! You can purchase the book from Koereyelle’s website or from Amazon. I will let you know, her website has much more goodies ready and available to purchase if you want more!
Happy reading and may your business and life flourish in the world!

What can I even say about Empire? I was hooked from the first trailers of the show and the first episode. The music mogul family and their drama has returned last night to FOX channel.
When the last season ended, I didn’t feel very interested in the show. Now I have been a fan of Cookie and she has been the star for me personally, but I felt the show was getting slightly repetitious. When the show came back last night, I was grateful that it started with Cookie beating her youngest son, Hakeem like the very first season started with. I was glued from there on.
Rhonda, Andre’s wife, saved herself (kudos to Rhonda using the cellphone to start her alarm!) but when taken to the hospital, found out she had lost the baby. Shady Anika had the nerve to visit her and ask what happened. SMH. The shadiness that is Anika is so horrible. I never really liked Rhondas character but I felt for her when she lost her baby. Andre, once again had a mental breakdown and I can’t even begin to blame him. Who wouldn’t suffer greatly after a horrific accident like that?
Jamal is now in a state of bisexuality. There is nothing wrong with that and he’s still doing great with his music career. You go, Jamal!
Hakeem. What is there really to say about this one? He seems to always be in trouble with his parents in one way or another. Hakeem has voted his father out of the company and gave the company to his girlfriend, Camille. He then was voted, or rather he took the title of CEO, once Camille was in control. I personally don’t think Hakeem should have that power and control of the business. I think he’s way too immature for something this big. He has shown his ignorance of the business and the truth of running a business like this many times before. I think he’s too proud and selfish to truly run the business and have a successful term while running it.
Cookie wants to keep the business within the family, even if that means getting Lucious back at the top (personally I want Cookie herself to own her company again) and I can’t blame her. I’d rather have the business in the hands of the family than some woman who’s out to hurt my family and separate them, if I were in Cookies position.
In the previews of next episode, we see Anika being rushed to the hospital. My first thought was Rhonda got her revenge. I am amped and excited to find out who exactly has caused injury to Anika. It might be someone that has nothing to do with Rhonda. I won’t be shocked if so. Karma is a bitch, afterall. Andre is seen questioning Rhonda about whether or not she has been cheating on him ( I bet she was, I felt that she was cheating from the first time I saw her! ) and her reply gave me my answer. She cheated. Lucious came after Hakeem with a challenge and threat. Stating that since Hakeem didn’t kill his father for the title of their business, Hakeem needs to now watch his back because Lucious will stop at nothing to get his throne back.
If you watched the show I’d love to hear your thoughts and feelings on the new season and what you expect to see!
Stay lovely, Stay happy, Stay Positive.
